DERMAPAK TYPE 4: A modification of Type 3 with added side retention 'flaps', which add to specimen security. This is of benefit where vigorous handling during mailing etc. may be anticipated. The adhesive used on the closure label is of the permanent variety, as distinct from the other Dermapak ® types, which use 'peelable' adhesives.
